This drop-in class is designed for dogs who experience reactivity. Whether you’re just starting out or already have some training under your belt. Join a supportive, judgment-free environment where both you and your dog can practice real-life skills alongside other reactive dog teams.

In this structured meet-up, we’ll focus on:

• Practicing calm behaviors around other dogs and handlers

• Working at a distance that feels safe and comfortable for your dog

• Sitting and settling in one place, as well as controlled movement around others

• Learning to read your dog’s body language and respond in the moment

Our trainers will guide you through practical, positive exercises and offer individualized coaching throughout the session to help you build confidence and make meaningful progress on your reactivity journey.

This is not about perfection—it’s about meeting your dog where they’re at, moving at their pace, and celebrating the small wins along the way.

Adult Dog Level 1

Build better communication, stronger everyday skills, and a more enjoyable relationship with your dog.

Adult Dog Level 1 is designed for adolescent and adult dogs who are new to formal training or could use a refresher on the basics. It’s also a perfect choice for rescue dogs who were adopted later in life and may not have had the opportunity to learn foundational skills before joining their new family.

This class focuses on practical, real-world obedience skills using positive reinforcement and force-free training methods.

Throughout the course, you and your dog will work on:

• Attention and engagement with you

• Sit, down, and stand

• Stay and building duration

• Recall and coming when called

• Loose-leash walking foundations

• Leave it and impulse control

• Polite greetings and manners

• Settling calmly around distractions

• Building focus around other dogs and people

Rather than simply teaching your dog to perform behaviours, we’ll help you understand how to communicate clearly, reinforce the behaviours you want, and continue progressing at home.

Classes are taught and supervised by a certified professional dog trainer in a supportive, judgement-free environment. Training is reward-based and tailored to help dogs and their people succeed without the use of pain, fear, or intimidation.

Who is this class for?

Adult Dog Level 1 is a great fit for dogs who:

• Are 10 months of age or older

• Have little or no previous formal training

• Were rescued or adopted later in life and need help building foundational skills

• Need a refresher on basic obedience

• Struggle to focus around everyday distractions

• Would benefit from stronger manners and communication with their handler

Dogs do not need to already know the skills before attending — that’s what we’re here to teach!

Small Dog Play Group (Drop In Class x 1)

Big fun for little dogs!

Our outdoor Small Dog Play Group is a drop-in social session designed specifically for dogs under 20 lbs. Dogs can enjoy supervised off-leash play with other appropriately matched small dogs in a safe, supportive environment.

We focus on:

• Appropriate dog-to-dog play

• Matching dogs by play style and comfort level

• Building confidence around other small dogs

• Practicing healthy social skills and communication

• Giving dogs a fun outlet to run, sniff and play

• Helping owners learn what appropriate play looks like and when dogs may need a break

Each session is run and supervised by a certified professional dog trainer, so you can feel confident that play is being monitored with canine body language, comfort and safety in mind.

Puppy Level 1  

3-6 months of age 

Give your puppy the skills they need to confidently navigate the world! Puppy Level 1 combines age appropriate puppy play, socialization and foundational manners in a fun, supportive environment.

We’ll work on:

• Supervised free play with puppies matched by size, age and play style

• Healthy puppy to puppy social skills

• Exposure to novel sounds, surfaces, shapes, objects and experiences

• Rapid recalls out of play

• The automatic sit

• Loose leash walking foundations

• Down and stay

• Cooperative handling and bite-proofing exercises

• “Stand Around Training” — teaching puppies to keep four paws on the floor instead of jumping up

• Emergency recalls

Our focus is on building confidence, engagement and real world skills while helping puppies learn that their humans are just as exciting as everything happening around them!
